此展品清代黄花梨木雕床，利用硬木的色泽和纹理特点，不事雕琢，多用原木漆，浑然天成。现在想来，古时夫妻，定是极懂享受生活的。一人看书，一人缝衣，相对而坐，偶尔不经意抬头，相视一笑，然后继续各忙各的。举案齐眉、红袖添香，二人世界，好不恣意。

黄花梨家具生产的黄金时代是清前期至乾隆这一百多年，嘉庆以后宫廷家具均以漆器为主。黄花梨作为制作家具最为优良的木材，黄花梨有着非凡的特性。这种特性表现为不易开裂、不易变形、易于加工、易于雕刻、纹理清晰而有香味等，再加上工匠们精湛的技艺，黄花梨家具也就成为明清时期家具中的王者。

此藏品清代黄花梨雕花镂空床经国内四位顶尖鉴宝大师和多名专家确认属于清中期文物，有雕花门罩，床三面围有扩装式的雕刻屏风。通高2.41米，床长2.22米，床宽1.16米。整个床木质为黄花梨木，生漆饰，床为四脚象腿雕饰，镂空状，床的上部分为四根方柱连接形成飞罩，其上雕有花草图案，雕工精细，惟妙惟肖，具有很高的科学艺术价值。
